This painting is adapted from a statue erected in the Arles Cemetery in southern France. It is a very moving place, representing the ravages of war for ordinary soldiers.
This site provides a small window into my art. I try to capture important moments in time and emotions I confront. They often overlap. I resist the lure of remaining within one genre.
